On November 2, Tennessee Democratic Party Chair Hendrell Remus visited with the Sumner County Democratic Party at its headquarters in Gallatin. Chair Remus provided an overview of the state party’s game plan and congratulated our Democratic candidates and volunteers for their hard work in the 2022 August and November elections. Because of the work of our dedicated candidates and volunteers, Sumner County is on the TNDP’s radar as a county to watch.
Chair Remus reminded us that it’s not too early to start thinking about the 2024 and 2026 elections right now. From getting involved in community service and outreach to better understand the needs in our communities to setting up recurring donations to rebuild our county party’s funds to support more candidates down the road, the time to start is now. There are more progressive voters in Sumner County than most people realize, and with your help, we can work together to mobilize them.
It’s time to show our communities that Democrats are the people and the party that cares about making their lives better.
