Sumner County Democratic Party Celebrates Major Reorganization

Strong turnout and a full leadership slate usher the SCDP into a new era.

Gallatin, TN - March 30, 2025 - The Sumner County Democratic Party (SCDP) is entering a new era of leadership and engagement after a successful reorganization meeting that saw unprecedented turnout and community involvement. With more than 180 registrants, tripling the number from 2023, Democrats from across the county came together to take part in this exciting chapter for the party.

At the meeting, all five officer positions and 24 district representative seats were filled, signaling a strong commitment to revitalizing the party in Sumner County. With an energized base and a fully appointed leadership team, the SCDP is poised to work towards creating positive change in the years to come.

"This is a pivotal moment for the Sumner County Democratic Party," said Megan Lange, Chair of the SCDP. "We are thrilled with the turnout and the overwhelming interest in taking part in this important work.
