What motivated you to run for this position?
My motivation for running for this position is the historical lack of options in our county. I want to be an example and a CHOICE for my community.
What are your top priorities if elected, and why?
1. Education
As a parent to a 3rd grade son with an autism diagnosis, education and school safety are very high on my list of priorities.
Sumner County has long been an educational leader in Tennessee. I'll fight to keep it that way — championing state-of-the-art classrooms, well-paid teachers, and schools where EVERY student feels safe and is given every tool and support needed for success!
2. Responsible Growth
Growth must be planned wisely and benefit the families who live here — not just developers and special interests. I'll make responsible investments that strengthen our future without wasting taxpayer dollars.
As a representative of The City on the Lake, I would love to see our entire lakeshore as the focus of beautification. I would also like to see our growth scaled, thoughtful, and curated. Growth is inevitable and can be positive and beneficial for each of us!
3. Transparency and Fostering Relationships
This point is so important for a successful and healthy community. Listening to understand and communicating constituent concerns is of utmost importance! I strive to model these qualities in business and will bring that same effort to my county commission role.
What areas fall into county commission district 21?

As a county commissioner, how will you ensure transparency in decision-making?
I will always make myself available to my constituents and cannot be bought.
How will you ensure diverse voices in the community are heard?
This is my heart. As part of a bi-racial family with many LGBTQ+ loved ones and a family with deep historical roots in this community, diversity is a priority for me and I will always stand strong to recognize, welcome, and represent!
What does effective local leadership look like to you?
LISTENING, honesty, transparency, inclusivity, and strength of character.
